So maybe the court merely meant that it was giving Combs a Blakely appeal despite the failure to raise it in those terms.It's an interesting idea that I wish the court had spun out so we wouldn't have to guess. [read post]

It appears that Goodhue County District Court Judge Tim Blakely is in hot water with the Minnesota Board on Judicial Standards.According to news reports, Blakely faces discipline for getting a huge discount on his divorce bill after sending business to his lawyer. [read post]
